Patrick Wood, a US financial analyst who writes on technocracy, promotes his new book 'The Crucible of Tokens' with this energising AI-generated song outlining key points of tokenization. As explained by BlackRock, the world's largest asset management company: "Tokenization is a way to utilize blockchains to record ownership of, or exposure to, assets as digital tokens, allowing them to be programmed, traded, settled and recorded on blockchain". This may sounds reasonably enough on paper - but,oh wait! There is no paper. It is argued that the ultimate ramifications of tokenization could extend into our very humanity as technology could dictate access to assets based on 'good behaviour' or some form of compliance. Patrick Wood says: "Tokenization is sweeping the world, and anywhere it hits, it will strip your title of outright ownership. This will end private property as we know it in America. That is why I wrote the book Crucible of Tokens to spell it out for you. This is the endgame of the World Economic Forum's infamous statement: 'By 2030, you will own nothing and be happy.' (Hint: you won't be happy.) What is being tokenized? All stocks in the stock market. Your retirement funds. Homes and commercial real estate. Gold and silver". What do you think of this way of presenting an argument, i.e. using the technology of artificial intelligence to drive home a point about the dangers of over-tech?
